Saute onions in oil until soft. Add ground beef and sal. Pepper to taste. Pour in tomato sauce and water; bring to boil. Break spaghetti and add to sauce a little at a time to avoid clumping. Cover and simmer 20-30 minutes. Stir well and serve with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
