Original recipe makes 4
8 ouncesdried linguine; broken in half, Uncooked
1/4 cupLand O Lakes butter
1 poundChicken stir fry meat
3 tablespoonFresh Lemon Juice
1/2 teaspoonSalt
1/4 teaspoonGround red pepper
3/4 cupgreen onion; Sliced

Peppered Lemon Chicken Pasta Preparation

Cook linguine according to package directions in 4 quart sauce pan. Drain; remove from pan. Keep warm.

Melt butter in same pan until sizzling; add chicken. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring often, until chicken is golden brown (6-8 minutes). Stir in lemon juice, salt and red pepper. Return cooked linguine to pan; toss to coat. Stir in green onions.

Serve with a salad and french bread.

Notes

This was so easy to make - everyone liked it - the red pepper and green onions gave it a kick!

My family loved this. Super easy. My family does not like onions and I did want some green in it so I added zucchini to it - perfect fit. 2 thumbs up!

My family enjoyed it. My wife felt it was a little spicy. I added more crushed pepper though. Next time I'll use a little less. I also used olive oil in place of the butter.

I guess we just like pastas with thicker sauces. This one gave great flavor, but not a sauce to go with it.

Quick and easy, I will use more pepper next time. Salt only used when cooking pasta, and a much smaller measure.
