I discovered this quick and tasty recipe while working in a restaruant. After working very long hours the kitchen staff would whip this recipe up and serve it with warm tortilla chips and icy cold margaritas. It was a great way to bond with co-workers and put the long days work behind you.
familygrunberg ,Good and quick. I feel it's missing something. Maybe using fire roasted tomatoes?7y
fergcx1 ,I love homemade salsa, but I hate chopping and mincing all the tomatoes, onions, etc. This recipe was great! I used a 14.5oz can diced tomatoes w/jalapeños and added a whole chopped tomato, roughly chopped everything else and pulsed it in my food processor until it was the consistency I liked. I added about a half of a juicy lime and 1/2 tsp salt. Turned out delicious and was so easy!7y

jafkitchen ,Very good for a quickie salsa. Made it mild but would like to kick up the heat next time. Better than the salsa from many Mexican restaurants I have been to.10y
jhamm77 ,Pretty good homemade salsa! Didnt have a food processor so I used my blender on low for just a few seconds, came out great.11y
delmonico ,Ok. I overdid the cilantro which is very powerful. Start small and slowly add to taste. Not bad quick and easy. Better the next day after flavors melded. Thanks for the basics.13y
reneem ,Very simple. Easy to embellish. I use canned tomatoes in the winter, and drain some of the juice.16y
