Chocolate Oatmeal Drops

Ready in 45 minutes

Aka "No Bake Cookies."

These were a childhood favorite at Grandma's House.

"It worked! The cookies set this time! Hooray! I didn't have enough quick cooking oatmeal in the house so I had to use half original oatmeal with the half quick cooking oatmeal I had on hand. I also boiled the mixture for EXACTLY one min. and made sure I formed the cookies EMMEDIATELY after I stirred in the oatmeal. One of these factors resulted in success. Finally! "

This was way too easy and tastes really good. I think next time I'll cut down the amount of sugar a little though

I love the flavor but everytime I make it I have to put them in the fridge to get them to set. What am I doing wrong? The kids eat the soft dough before it has a chance to set. So I guess it doesn't matter. It just bugs me that they won't set. I don't feel I can give them as a gift or to a party. A shame because they are so yummy!
