brianacardoza , 8 months agoI have never had Marsala before. I made this lastnight. It was so tastyyyy and very simple. Yummyyyyy
rjnetto , 8 months agoDidn't have marsala, so substituted it with white wine and a tblspn of brandy. Came out divine. Guests said it tasted like authentic 'marsala' :)
RachWatch , 8 months agoNice but didn't like the garlic. Will leave out next time.
KittyChaos , 9 months agoYum!
sHellsKitchen , 9 months agoWanted a more lowfat version and found the sauce was lacking body, so I halved the butter/oil and added 1 cup of beef broth, 2 Tbsps half-n-half and some cornstarch to thicken. Loved the flavor that the oregano added.
coco1987 , 9 months agoIt was pretty good like trying new things

NancyDaley , 10 months agoTasty! I don't follow recipes too very closely. I did follow this one pretty well. Quantities were rough, not exact. Big hit even with the anti-mushroom crowd. They just left them for me!
motieweiss , 10 months agovery easy to make, calls for a lot of butter and a lot of oil. was a family hit, everybody licked their plate clean
NutriNik , 10 months agoTaste was great and easy to make. I even used a low-fat butter spread and less oil than the recipe called for so I could make it a bit healthier. I also used whole wheat flour instead of white flour. I used the 8oz of mushroom and didn't cut them so they were nice and thick. Everyone in house liked it a lot. Will make again!
Masterscrapper , 11 months agoMy family loved it and asked that I make it again! I even got a "thank you for making dinner" from my seven year old. I served it over angel hair pasta and with a side of broccoli. I also added one extra clove of garlic. I would have liked more sauce next time.
