Light Spaghetti Carbonara Preparation
Cook the spaghetti in lightly salted, boiling water according to the pack instructions. Drain the pasta, remove it from the pan and set aside.
Meanwhile, beat the egg yolk, milk, cornflour and 1 teaspoon of the parmesan cheese together in a cup.
Cut the Bacon into Strips. Spray the same pasta pan with low fat cooking spray and stir fry the bacon strips and garlic for about 2 minutes. Return the pasta to the pan. Add seasoning and reheat the mixture, stirring, until it is piping hot.
add the egg and milk mixture to the pan, stirring well until the mixture just starts to thicken. Remove the pan from the heat.
Pile the pasta into a shallow bowl and sprinkle with the remaining cheese before eating.
