Easy to fix and delicious to eat!
"I have made this three times,my family loves it! I use twice as much chicken cause I have a large family. I use two cups of ketchup and two packs of chili seasoning which gives it a pow! a lil zesty Latino flavor! and a extra can of cola for extra gravy my children fight over the gravy! we have added this dish to our weekly menu! this is easy an filling, I made it with white rice and with Baby back ribs flavored rice -by knorr and a pan of corn bread and some sweet peas! umm good! "make you wanna slap ya momma!"lol"- brownshugga

Top-ranked recipe named "Cola Chicken"
Place chicken breasts into a skillet or Dutch oven. Pour cola and ketchup over the chicken and bring to a boil. Cook, covered over medium heat until chicken is done (approximately one hour). Raise heat and cook uncovered until sauce thickens. This might take awhile, so keep a close eye on it.
Or dump everything into a crockpot and cook until done (about 3 hours or so).
This is really quick and easy to fix. Everyone seems to love it. Just remember to allow the sauce to thicken before serving.

harrietgriffin 7 months agoReally yummy, did exactly what recipe said - in crock pot, and sauce just didn't thicken and get sticky enough. Was disappointing but was still yummy!

Served it with baked potatoes in broccoli & cheese sauce and some sauteed mushroom. All licked their fingers. Next time will try it on drumsticks and chicken wings.
