1 poundshrimp
2 Tbspolive oil
4 clovesGarlic
1/4 cupWhite wine
2 TbspParsley
1 tspSalt; optional
1/4 tspBlack pepper

Shrimp Sauteed with White Wine Preparation

Peel and devein the shrimp.

Put oil and garlic in a pan and sautee for 3 minutes.

Add shrimp and sautee til they turn pink (approximately 3 minutes). Turn shrimp over.

Add the wine and cook til shrimp are cooked through. Do not overcook.

Sprinkle with parsley, salt and pepper to taste.

Serve over linguine or fettucine.

Notes

Serve with a tossed green salad and some garlic bread for a really yummy dinner.

Easy to make. I did follow others suggestions and added italian spice, red pepper flakes, Parmesan cheese, parsley and a few capers.

I make this recipe all the time. It's great. I spice it up though. I usually marinate the shrimp with Olive oil, minced basil and white wine for a half hour. When cooking the shrimp, I add a generous amount of italian seasoning and a touch of parmeasan cheese. The original recipe is a tad bit too bland for our household.
