"This recipe is easy to make and very tasty. I made a few minor changes to this recipe. I baked the chicken and mushroom sauce at 375 for about 30 minutes, instead of simmering on the stove. I also added half a cup of sliced onions and fresh thyme to the mushroom sauce. I served the chicken over white rice with steamed green beans and my family loved it."- joyofcooking

gpielstick 4 months agoThis dish was very easy and tasty. I was out of sour cream but it still turned out great! I did boil my potatoes before assembling the casserole and reduced cooking to 20 minutes to heat through. Very good!

brandylea2004 1 year agoThis was very good and husband really liked it. I am going to add a second cream of mushroom next time. I also added a little bit of milk to thin it out. Someone else recommended onions, I think I will also add them next time for flavor.
karenjewell 1 year agoI have made this a couple times now and I think it is great! So easy to make and tastes good. I sautéed some onions first before adding the chicken. Served it over Jasmine rice. Definitely recommend if you are in a hurry. Oh! I also added extra mushrooms and diced the chicken.
