"This recipe is easy to make and very tasty. I made a few minor changes to this recipe. I baked the chicken and mushroom sauce at 375 for about 30 minutes, instead of simmering on the stove. 1 tablespoonOlive oil
1 cupMushrooms
4 mediumChicken skinless/boneless breasts; skinless/boneless
1 10-oz canCream of mushroom soup
2 dashesSalt
2 dashesPepper
2 cupsRice; cooked/optional

Easy Cream of Mushroom Chicken Preparation

Heat oil in a medium skillet. Add chicken and brown both sides for 5 minutes over medium heat. Add mushrooms and cook for 2 more minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add can of cream of mushroom soup (Do not add water). Stir until chicken and mushrooms are well coated. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes (or until chicken is no longer pink), stirring once or twice.

This dish is best served over rice.

    This was very good and husband really liked it. I am going to add a second cream of mushroom next time. I also added a little bit of milk to thin it out. Someone else recommended onions, I think I will also add them next time for flavor.

    I have made this a couple times now and I think it is great! So easy to make and tastes good. I sautéed some onions first before adding the chicken. Served it over Jasmine rice. Definitely recommend if you are in a hurry. Oh! I also added extra mushrooms and diced the chicken.

    I made this today and it waaboretty good. I will post a pic if I know how. I too usedvtwo cans if soup and added water to thin it up. I added mixed veggies and lots if seasonings. Taste great

    I make this alot but I use wild rice. I cooked the rice in a pot until it's semi-done (still has water) and then add it with the chicken to continue cooking. I also add garlic. My family loves it. Also when in a hurry I make it with the frozen grilled chicken diced or strips.

    Excellent! I added half an onion chopped, a couple minced garlic cloves, and really seasoned the chicken breasts well. I also used a flavored rice instead of just Jasmine/white rice which added extra flavor. Was a big hit with my picky Hubster!

    tasty with the addition of some onion and garlic seasoning. I also added some water to thin the sauce a bit. I butterflied the breast and got 8 servings and increased the rice 4 cups. Add a vegetable and salad and this is a perfect weeknight dinner in a flash.
