Bacon Tomato Ranch Pasta Salad

Recipes »  Salad  »  Pasta Salads

Pasta salad with ranch and bacon.

"If used as leftovers the bacon gets kinda rubbery. I would recommend using the bacon as a topper and adding just before use. Also, the cheap mozzarella isn't such a great texture in this. I would certainly recommend the freshest stuff you can get. The mix of flavors was yummy, loved the crunch of the cucumber. Like the idea of adding bacon grease, may try that next time." - jlburgart

Bacon Tomato Ranch Pasta Salad Preparation

Cook pasta till done, rinse with cold water and allow to drain. While pasta is cooking, fry bacon till semi-crisp and allow to cool. Then break bacon into small pieces and add to other ingrediants. Add pasta, stir in ranch dressing till everything is coated and well mixed. Chill. You can also add any of these: green onion, croutons, bell pepper. Try using Peppercorn Ranch, for an extra kick. Recipe is open to experimentation.

Made this recipe tonight. I agree with using more dressing because the noodles soak it up. I might also add Italian dressing so it's not so bland. Love the bacon for crunch. Thanks for submitting.

This salad was tasty; be sure to use lots of dressing, as the noodles really soak it up.
