Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Recipes »  Main Dish  »  Meat - Steaks and Chops

The flavor of the classic apple treat is a perfect fall taste for this meal.

"I was a little skeptical of this dish, it might sound like and unusual flavor combination but it was exceptional! The savory from the seasoned pork chops (I DID well season chops before cooking) meets the sweet of the apples and gooey caramel sauce. To me it was like french toast pork chops with apples, might not sound delicious but I thought it was divine. I will definitely be making this dish again, it went straight into our book of favorites. Thanks for posting!! :)" - AshleyM77

Very nice. I cooked the sauce too long and it changed to ...more like toffee - but we loved the flavours and I'll make it again with more care to the sauce. Funny that the toffee pieces were very popular by themselves even though that was the mistake!! Thanks for sharing your recipe.

I doubled the sauce and my porkchops were 1 inch thick. Took way longer to cook. I brined the chops then salt and peppered them. It was like cinamon apples as a side dish because the sauce didn't really get into the meat but they turned out sooo yummy

Very tasty! I seasoned the chops before I cooked them and the recipe wasn't clear of how much salt and pepper to use in the sauce I used 1/4 each since I doubled the recipe.
