Ready in 45 minutes
A basic glaze for an easy dinner.
"1st off, I don't cook very much at all, but I've been trying more often after getting this app. This recipe is easy to prepare and the taste was good. I think it would've been "GREAT" if I wouldn't of slightly overcooked the pork chops. They weren't turning "brown" as the recipe calls for so I probably left them in the skillet too long making them a little dry. Luckily, the glaze is what makes this recipe great- I would agree, make more than it calls for to ensure you have enough."- Jdog21276

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Coat large skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium heat. Add pork chops. Cook until brown, turning once. Remove chops. Place chops in 9x13-inch baking dish. Combine brown sugar and honey in small bowl. Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 20 seconds; stir to combine. Spoon half of the honey mixture over tops of chops, spreading evenly.
Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Turn chops; spoon remaining honey mixture over chops, spreading evenly. Bake until internal temperature is 160 degrees F, 15-20 minutes. To serve, spoon pan drippings over chops.

cristinakj 4 months agoI don't think I could have messed this recipe up anymore than I did. I didn't pay close enough attention to the directions so I ended up marinating the meat before cooking in the honey sauce, But then I realized my error and we scraped the honey sauce off of them and then browned them and we just made a big mess but they still turned out really really good. I believe this recipe would be excellent on the grill but I think one important factor is that the porkchops all be the same thickness. .
