Original recipe makes 4
4 3/8" thickboneless pork chops
2 teaspoonsVegetable oil
1 14.5-oz candiced tomatoes; undrained
1/2 cupOnion; minced
1 clovegarlic; crushed
1 teaspoonGround ginger
2 teaspoonsGround cinnamon
1/4 cupHoney
1 tablespoontoasted sesame seed

Honey-Sesame Pork Chops Preparation

Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; add chops and brown on both sides, about 3 minutes on each side. Add tomatoes, onion, garlic, ginger, cinnamon and honey; heat to a simmer; cover and simmer until chops are cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove chops, reserve. Heat sauce to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook until sauce thickens. Return chops to pan with sesame seed. Heat through and serve.

This was just okay. I won't be making it again. Mine looked absolutely nothing like the photo and I followed it exactly. The photo shows mushrooms when in fact, the recipe doesn't even call for mushrooms. The photo is also missing the tomatoes and onions that are in the sauce. I didn't realize that until after I made it. The sauce really ends up looking something like brownish salsa. There was way too much cinnamon and ginger, that was basically all you could taste. I asked my husband what he thought was in the dish and cinnamon was the only thing he could name since it was so overpowering. I think if the ginger was halved and you use maybe 1/4 of the amount of cinnamon this might have some potential.
