Nautico's Crab BLT
Gilding the traditional BLT!
"What a great starter recipe. By starter, I mean it's a great basis for your not so ordinary sandwich. Add your favorite seasoning. I added, chives, garlic, dill and black pepper to my mayo/crab mixture. I also added a slice of swiss cheese. Next time I might try a spicier kick with wasabi mayo, onion and garlic. Nautico's Crab BLT Preparation
This one's so simple, it hardly qualifies as a recipe, but as a sandwich it can't be beat, esp for those of you you adore BLTs.
I use Pepperidge Farm's new 15-grain bread, a thin application of mayo on both slices.
From the bottom up:
Iceberg lettuce (don't get fancy here)
Maryland blue crab (mix a little mayo with it)
Thin slice of avocado
That's it. Nothing to it, but, oh, so good.
