Original recipe makes 6
2 bonelesspork chops; cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 teaspoonVegetable oil
1/2 cupOnions; chopped
2 teaspoonsGround cumin
1/4 teaspoonGarlic powder
1 cupwild rice; cooked
1 15.5-oz cangreat Northern beans; drained
1 15.5-oz canchick peas; drained
1 4-oz candiced green chilies; drained
1/8 teaspoonHot pepper sauce
1 14.5-oz canchicken broth

Wild Rice and Pork Soup Preparation

In 4-quart saucepan saut onions and pork in oil over medium-high heat until onions are soft and pork lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Stir in all remaining ingredients except parsley; bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer 20 minutes. Serve garnished with parsley.
