"Awesome tender roast. I used a large onion which was a little more than called for and only 1 cup of celery. Great flavour and the most tender roast I have had in a long time. Cooked in a crock pot slow cooker for about 6 hrs. We will be making this again."

Ingredients
| 4 poundchuck roast |
| 1 cupKetchup |
| 1 cupbarbecue sauce |
| 2 cupsCelery; chopped |
| 2 cupsWater |
| 1 cupOnions; chopped |
| 4 tablespoonVinegar |
| 2 tablespoonBrown sugar |
| 2 tablespoonWorcestershire Sauce |
| 1 teaspoonChili powder |
| 1 teaspoonGarlic powder |
| 1 teaspoonSalt |
Barbecue (Barbecued Chuck Roast) Preparation
Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Spoon into 5 quart cooker, or 2 3 1/2 quart cookers. Cover. Cook on low 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours. Slice meat into thin slices and serve in barbecue sauce over mashed potatoes or rice.
