Sweet Spicy Lamb Curry

Haven't tried this yet, but it looks good.

"Will do this again! Yum. Liked the look of the recipe, but while I was preparing it I decided it was boring and I didn't hold out much hope... But I was wrong! I did do a few things different... Browned the onion; used medium instead of mild curry powder (good for us but a little too hot for kids); used lamb stock (cubes) not chicken; and thickened it quite a lot. Original recipe makes 4
2 carrots,Carrots; chopped
1 onion,Onions; chopped
2 tablespoonsmild curry paste or powder
500 glamb shoulder chops; (1 pound)
450 mlChicken bouillon
1 mediumapple; peeled & chopped
1 tablespoontomato puree; (or sauce or paste)
1 tablespoonsLemon juice
Salt; to taste
Freshly ground pepper; to taste
1 Peach; chopped
1 tspallspice or mixed spice
100 gramsRaisins
Sugar or Honey; to taste at end of cooking

Sweet Spicy Lamb Curry Preparation

Put all in crockpot, vegies on bottom, chops and the rest on top, slowly cook 6-8 hours - thicken with cornflour or flour if desired. If you want this to be sweet, add sugar to taste at end - i usually add 1 - 2 tablespoons or honey or syrup. Great if you like sweet curries.

Very tasty - and a good way to get kids to eat curry as it is sweet as well as spicy! Not too spicy, though!
