Great stew.
"I loved it! I added Lawry's Season salt (liberally) and having read the comments about salt and pepper I liberally applied them, too.The other thing I did was really work the flower and spices into the meat before adding the vegetables. I used russet potatoes (big ones) and I ended up adding an extra cup-and-a-half of beef base because my vegetables were so big.
I cooked on high for 4.5 hours and low for 30 minutes.
Yummy! I'm eating it right now.
Oh yah and I added the Kitchen Bouquet, too." - necede

Beef Stew Preparation
Place meat in crockpot. Mix flour, salt and pepper and pour over meat; stir to coat. Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix.
Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours. (High: 4-5 hours). Stir stew thorougly before serving.
