This is the best Beef Stroganoff we have ever had. Everyone that has it at my house asks for the recipe."It was really easy to make and it had my family salivating in the kitchen for 30 minutes before it was done. I didn't even have to call them to dinner, they were already there. The only thing I did different was add a package of dry onion soup mix (because I didn't have the onion soup), used hamburger instead, used 16 oz of sour cream instead of cream cheese (because I didn't have that either), and fried up fresh mushrooms in garlic salt and olive oil to add to the mix. Beef Stroganoff Preparation
Mix beef, onion, soups, mushrooms and pepper in crockpot.
Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours or until beef is very tender. Stir cream cheese into beef mixture until melted. Stir in sour cream. Serve beef mixture over noodles.
