Smoked Turkey Salad with Apples and Croutons
Original recipe makes 4
| 2 Mediumtart apples; cut in thin wedges |
| 2 Teaspoonsfreshly squeezed lemon juice |
| 12 ozCHUNK SMOKED TURKEY BREAST; cut in thin strips |
| 2 4.5-oz cansspring mix salad with walnuts and cranberries |
| 4 ozCheddarella or Cheddar cheese; diced |
| 1/2 Cupsliced red onion |
| 1/2 Cupbottled honey-mustard dressing |
| 2 Slices7-grain bread; toasted, stacked and cut in 1/2-inch croutons |
Smoked Turkey Salad with Apples and Croutons Preparation
1. In a large bowl, toss apples in freshly squeezed lemon juice to prevent the apples from turning dark.
2. Add turkey, greens from salad mix, cheese, onion and dressing; toss to mix and coat.
3. Sprinkle with dried cranberries and walnuts (from packets in salad mix) and croutons.
