Turkey Sloppy Joes
|1 PoundGround turkey|
|1 Cuponion; thinly sliced|
|1/2 Cupgreen pepper; chopped|
|1 Cupreduced-calorie; reduced-sodium catsup|
|1/4 Cupsweet pickle relish|
|1.5 teaspoonchili powder|
|1 TeaspoonWorcestershire Sauce|
|1/2 TeaspoonSeasoned salt|
|1/2 TeaspoonGarlic powder|
|1/4 Teaspooncelery seeds|
|1 LoafFrench or Italian bread; (1 pound)|
Turkey Sloppy Joes Preparation
1. In large skillet, over medium-high heat, saute turkey, onion and pepper 5 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink. Add catsup, relish, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, garlic powder and celery seed. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 30 minutes.
2. Slice bread in half, lengthwise, and toast under broiler 1 to 2 minutes or until lightly browned.
3. To serve, spoon turkey mixture over one half of bread and top with other half. Cut into 8 slices
