michellebolhuis ,The potatoes were awesome according to my husband. We will be having these again for sure, just not often as they are fatty.6y
ladyxenigma ,Made in my new cast iron and it came out amazing! Going to make this every time now with eggs instead of hash browns.6y
mommyluvs2cook2 ,Wow, 5 star potatoes for sure!! I cooked the bacon first then removed them and added the potatoes, then the bacon back in at the end of cooking. Added some fresh chopped garlic as well, fantastic!!6y
grammywindy ,Excellent! Hubby said to add to his favorites...LOL..served with Cracker Barrel Fried Apples recipes, and a main dish of polish sausage w/sauerkraut for a nice fall dinner!9y
abezilla ,i halved this recipe as I was cooking for myself. I also used bacon lardons and added some spices and herbs as this was more to my taste. A perfect accompaniment to a steak, simple to prepare, and I would definitely try again10y
driftsnburnouts ,I made these and they were very yummy but my potatoes didnt crisp enough11y
kerid518 ,This was sooo good! Actually made this for a side dish for Christmas Dinner and everyone loved it!11y
midnightmoose23 ,I cooked the bacon first and then drained the bacon grease and cooked the potatoes and onions in the bacon grease with salt, pepper, garlic powder and old bay seasoning. It was amazing!11y
dalesangel ,Love these- they are a hit with the whole family. Paired it with top sirloin and garlic mushrooms...5 star meal if there ever was one!11y
amandadowlandstrathmann ,Did have good flavor however they didnt turn out real well. May try again.11y
amandadowlandstrathmann ,Good but had a hard time getting bacon done. Didn't have a cast iron pan! Sure that makes a difference!11y
gabif ,Delicious. I cut the recipe in half as we didn't need the full amount. To cut down on the grease, I cooked the bacon first and drained some of the grease. I didn't add anymore oil as it would have been too greasy. Very tasty dish.12y
bevcsims69 ,This was a really big recipe. I cut it in half and decreased the amount of oil more than half. It was still pretty greasy, but it was tasty! I drained the excess oil and there was still a lot of oil, so I tweak that part next time. It would be a great Christmas am breakfast made the day before. It gets even better each day.12y
jod11 ,We had these in Munich & I was on the lookout for the recipe. Absolutely delicious! I served them on the side of pan fried hake12y
