German Fried Potatoes

This is my family's favorite way to fix potatoes. My mom used to make with steaks and a salad. Delicious!

Love these- they are a hit with the whole family. Paired it with top sirloin and garlic mushrooms...5 star meal if there ever was one!

Did have good flavor however they didnt turn out real well. May try again.

Good but had a hard time getting bacon done. Didn't have a cast iron pan! Sure that makes a difference!

Delicious. I cut the recipe in half as we didn't need the full amount. To cut down on the grease, I cooked the bacon first and drained some of the grease. I didn't add anymore oil as it would have been too greasy. Very tasty dish.

This was a really big recipe. I cut it in half and decreased the amount of oil more than half. It was still pretty greasy, but it was tasty! I drained the excess oil and there was still a lot of oil, so I tweak that part next time. It would be a great Christmas am breakfast made the day before. It gets even better each day.
