dkwlll , 1 years agoWow. This was a great surprise. We peppered it up a little more than the recipe and got some added kick. I would only simmer the chicken for about 40 minutes then finish cooking winkle boiling the dumplings
angelalaw , 1 years agoI would say this a great way to cook chicken and dumplings quick. I would say flavor was in issue. Luckily I read other reviews. Ousted 3 boullion cubes and 50% chicken stock and 50% water and I would say it stil lack. A little flavor. I agree with the author on extra dumplings I did not do that and I wish I would of. I have left overs frozen. And I know they will be good always better secon time around

CherieBonine , 1 years agoI really enjoyed this recipe. The herbs were very prominent, so I'll cut them back a little next time. But overall, it was very satisfying.
MarkCarter01 , 1 years agoAbsolutely awesome. My family loved it and it was easy to make! Leftovers for lunch tomorrow!!!!
nathanrobinson , 1 years agoI've fixed it twice and loved it both times. I use leg quarters instead of breasts as they are juicier. I also make another batch of dumplings when I heat up the leftovers.
MamabearShields , 1 years agoFANTASTIC! Only comment is that if you use less chicken breasts still use a little more water than covering chicken as it boils away quick with the dumplings. This will be a new regular in our home. Everyone loved it!

Starzgirl , 1 years agoYummy! I used chicken broth like other reviewers and added a can of cream of chicken soup. So good! I didn't have all of the seasonings for the dumplings, but so yummy any way. Thanks for sharing!
HollyShawver , 1 years agoIt was ok. Subbed broth for water, didn't taste fantastic. Was just ok.
tahquitz , 1 years agoEasy to make and it was delicious.

candymikler , 1 years agoDelicious! Like the others, I added chicken broth instead of water and a can of cream of chicken soup. Also added some frozen peas and the canned biscuits torn in quarters. Fantastic! Will definitely make again. Thanks for the great recipe!
debbienationsmyhre , 1 years agoI added some chicken broth and a can of cream of chicken soup - it was DELICIOUS
bcnelson37 , 1 years agoGreat recipe. The one change I made was to use canned biscuits; they were the "grand" size so I tore them in half, rolled them into a ball and placed them in the pan. I cooked them for 15 minutes uncovered and then covered. Family loved this dish!
