I thought that because there was no seasoning for the chicken it was going to taste bland so I salted the chicken please don't do that because the broth, soup, and butter is enough because mine came out salty. | 3 canscream of chicken soup |
| 1 canChicken broth |
| 1 largepepperidge farms stuffing mix; (cornbread) |
| 1 1/2sticksButter or margarine |
| 1 cupmilk |
Easy Chicken Breast Casserole for Crockpot or Oven Preparation
In the bottom of the backing dish (or crockpot) place chicken breasts, dice the chicken.
Mix together 3 cans of cream of chicken soup with 1/2 cup (can) of chicken broth. Pour over chicken.
Melt 1 1/2 sticks butter with remaining 1/2 cup (can) of chicken broth. Mix with package of stuffing.
Pour on top of chicken. Then pour 1 cup of milk over all and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
If cooking in the crockpot -- cook for 5 hours on high -- or all day on low.
Notes
This is easy to make and tastes great.
