"This was a delicious recipe. Would definately make it again. I would change how the chicken is cooked, as I felt the chicken was a little tough. I would suggest cooking the chicken in a pan and follow the rest of the recipe. Two thumbs up. Even my picky Aunt loved this one."

Ingredients

7 whole Chicken breasts
1 med. Onion; chopped
1/2 cup Butter
1 8-oz can mushrooms; drained
1 can Cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 5 1/3-oz can evaporated milk
1/2 lb sharp cheese; grated
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco Hot Sauce
2 teaspoon Soy sauce
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Poultry seasoning
2 tablespoons pimiento; chopped
2 cans green tip asparagus
1/2 cup slivered almonds

Preparation

Boil chicken breasts in water seasoned with salt, poultry seasoning, onion, and celery until tender. Cool, de-bone and tear into bite-size pieces. Set aside. Saut onion in butter and add remaining ingredients, except asparagus, chicken and almonds. Simmer sauce until the cheese melts. To assemble, place a layer of chicken in a large casserole, a layer of asparagus and a layer of sauce. Repeat layers, ending with sauce. Top with almonds. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly. Do not add liquid even if it looks dry. If large breasts are used, this will serve 8-10.

Good, but rich. A showcase recipe that I would make for company.

This was a great recipe, fast and easy. Even got my 16 year old niece to eat asparagus. I added some bisquick and butter to the top for a sort of crust and it was delicious. I will definitely be making this often, the boyfriend hasn't stopped saying how much he liked it :D

This had great flavor..but mine was a bit watery...think I'll leave out one of the cans of soup next time

My family loved this recipe. I put French's onions on top which gave it great flavor and some crunch.

A real hit with the men in the family. Used fresh asparagus. Worked in onion soup base and water for the evaporated milk . Great added flavor.

This recipe is awesome!!!! I added a can of veg all (drained) and crumbled ritz crackers on top and drizzled butter on top too!!!! It's a good recipe and feeds a lot!!! Oh and added Tonys seasoning but I add it to everything :)

Everything except the almonds..but I was confused when it said celery at the beggining of the recipe but not ingredients... Smells great

I did not like flavors at all. My boyfriend thought was so so without the almonds.
