Pour peaches and syrup in 8 x 8 cake pan. Sprinkle cake mix over peaches. Top with butter slices. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. Serve with Cool Whip or alone.
My daughter won 1st place ribbon at a company picnic, dessert cooking contest using this recipe.

PamInArk 6 months agoSubstituted cherry pie filling and it turned out great. The baking time was 40 minutes at 350 deg.

francesmomto3 5 years agoI made this recipe as a simple dessert for my family plus three guests. My one guest and I thought it was was too sweet (I believe it was the cake mix) but everyone else really liked it. So I will probably make this again...just not for myself!
