sunnygal 1 year agoGreat flavor! Really flavors grilled chicken. I did reduce omit water and reduced sauce to half and then basted chicken while grilling. Will be a favorite BBQ sauce.
cynlor 2 years agowe used this for chicken on the grill. very nice flavor, next time i might thicken a bit with cornstarch so it sticks a bit better while grilling. thanks mee maw. :)
drgeli 4 years agoI tasted this sauce as I was making it and thought it would be too spicy for our taste, but was pleasantly surprised at the results--just right! Will add a little more salt than I did this time. Very good sauce!
pam_perfect1 8 years agoIt sure looked like a small amount, however, when I divided the sauce, there was plenty left for heating and serving on the chicken. I will definately make this again.
Tom Tait 8 years agoMy grandmother's tried and true recipe. This sauce is excellent on oven baked chicken. I usually double the recipe so there is plenty leftover for dipping or saucing a rice accompaniment.
