My oven is a little out of calibration but even so this not nearly enough cooking time. I was a skeptic of the brown bag method but it worked fine. Not sure why I used it and wonder if it was the sack that prevented browning to occur. Great flavor!

This came at perfectly!! My uncle said it was the best apple pie he ever had and ate 3 slices

Everyone loved it! Very simple to make.

Really yummyfull!!!!!! I was scared that my oven would catch fire with the brown bag in it but I put it on a cookie sheet and all was well!! Really liked how the bag helped the pie retain moisture!! Great recipe

I've never made apple pie before, and this turned out amazing when I made it for my dad's birthday

Every Tuesday my roommates and I have a " Taste Test Tuesday" and this recipe was a big hit. We served our pie with French vanilla ice cream and everyone loved it. ??

I was leery but did just as directed it a blue ribbon bit for sure thank you for shareing

I made 2 and they were slamming/delicious i added caramel sundae topping before putting in the oven and i didn't have any more nutmeg so i used a little pumpkin pie spice and i had a bunch of leftover apples taken up space in my refrigerator and it was well worth it and i had leftover pie crust in the frig already in the shell so everything worked out perfect and i don't eat apple pie but i do now Thanks

It is a great apple pie.I really enjoyed it .

Wasn't sure about the paper bag in the oven but it worked great. Easiest apple pie recipe and came out great. I had a bunch of granny smith apples so I made two for Thanksgiving. I made one by the recipe and one with brandy. Both were great. Be sure to spoon the apples into the pie crust or it could end up soggy in the bottom.
