Oven-Dried Figs

These dried figs are much softer and moister that store-bought dried figs. They are great for snacking, in salads, on pizza or chopped and sprinkled over ice cream. Store them in an airtight container for up to 3 days. (Cooking Light magazine 8-04)

10 mediumLight skinned fresh figs; halved
Cooking spray

Oven-Dried Figs Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 250F.

2 Arrange figs in a single layer on a foil lined baking sheet coated in cooking spray. Bake at 250 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until almost dry but still soft.
