Loved the taste of it. Tried this recipe because we didn't have the other things that the other ingredients were asking for. Plus the bananas were so sweet and ripe for the making. It was so soft and sweet. We made a banana bread loaf and a cake (the size of course). I killed those mostly by myself. Definitely trying it again for the holidays.

Very quick to mix and make. Recipe doesn't specify baking time, but this had to cook for over an hour. Very tasty.

I've made this recipe twice now, and it's come out perfect each time. I picked it because it uses more overripe bananas than any other recipe I've found, and I had a lot of them. The first time I used a white cake mix, and it was lighter and fluffier than traditional banana breads and had more banana flavor. The second time, I used a spice cake mix, and it was DELICIOUS. On judging how long to bake it, I used the guidelines on the cake mix for two 8" pans and started checking it from there, since I didn't see how it could be done faster than cakes without bananas. Just as good as any traditional banana bread except twice as easy!
