1/2 cupVegetable oil
1/4 cupSesame oil
2 tablespoonGinger; fresh/grated

6 clovesGarlic; crushed

Ginger Saigon Chicken Wings Preparation

Whisk all of the ingredients together. Pour over chicken wings. Refrigerate for a few hours (best if left overnight). Place rack on a foil lined baking sheet and arrange chicken wings on the rack. Bake uncovered at 375 F for 25 minutes. Turn wings and brush with remaining sauce. Continue baking until wings are golden brown and crisp, about 25 to 30 more minutes.

You can also barbecue the wings, turning and brushing with sauce often for about 20 to 30 minutes.

I cook this very regular. Doesn't need as much oil at all. Very popular with all ages. Tonite, I am preparing 20 pounds (scaled to 35) for tomorrow's 2 family wood splitting party!!!

Made this for a girls night in and it was the first thing gone!!! Very good! I omitted the veg oil altogether and it was still excellent!

Made these tonight, very, very good. Will also try the marinade with chicken parts on the grill, this is a keeper. Thanks for sharing.

I liked the marinade but, I used it on drumsticks.

These are unique and excellent. I've made them a few times, but I always have a hard time preparing for anything that needs to marinate over night. The marinade caramelizes nicely to create a pungent flavor.

My kids loved it! I omitted the veg oil and honey.

This was great! I cut the oils by half, and cooked the sauce until it thickend and brushed it on the wings.

It smells better than taste. I would make it again with less soy sauce, oil, and more garlic n ginger.

I made these last night. They were good but not amazing. There was too much oil in the sauce for me. I also cooked the sauce down over the stove and made it thicker. Then I spread it on the chicken in te oven while it cooked. It made it tons better. I made drumsticks so it took longer to cook. I think wings would been better. Good recipe.

I cooked these babies for a Culinary Open House at Lane Community College in Eugene, OR. I prepared 100 of them, but we changed the wings to Frenched drummettes!!! Very classy, but worth it for the look. I added extra fresh ginger.
