Great with Mashed potatoes!

"4 stars as-is, but 5 star potential. My 4 patties ended up very thick, with the result that I had some crunchy bits of onion, even having cooked for 5 minutes per side. I think next time I'll add the steaks back to the pan to simmer in the sauce for a a couple minutes, and maybe make 6 patties so they're thinner. The sauce was a bit bland, another reviewer suggested garlic, the next time I make these I'll use some and add Worcestershire sauce as well." - FuzzySapiens

My husband said this was the best Salisbury Steak he has had. He gave the steaks a 5 but he doesn't like mushrooms so overall he gave ita four. My 6 year old loved it as well as myself. Will be cooking this again for sure!! Thank you for the recipe.

I thought it was very good:) The steak patties were great for flavor. I tasted the mushroom sauce while in the pan and added a little extra salt, pepper, and a pinch of garlic. After the additions the sauce was very flavorful as well. Overall I think this is a great recipe. My family liked it and I will make it again:)

I left out the Allspice and did not make the sauce as I served these with salad. I had to cook these for 10 minutes each side as they were still raw in the centre after only 5 minutes each side.Very easy and yum recipe.
