3/4 poundItalian sausage; mild or hot, casing removed
2 mdOnions; chopped
2 clovesGarlic; minced
1 26-oz jarTomato and basil pasta sauce
OR Spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
1 14.5-oz candiced peeled tomatoes
1 1/2 tablespoonDried basil
1/4 cupFresh Basil; chopped
1/2 cupHeavy cream
3/4 poundstagliatelle or fettuccine noodles; cooked

Ground Beef And Sausage With Pasta In Tomato Cream Sauce Preparation

Crumble the beef and sausage into a large heavy skillet on top of the stove. Add the onions and cook over med-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the meat is well browned, about 8 min. Drain off excess fat. Transfer the meat mixture to a crockpot. Stir in the garlic, pasta sauce, tomatoes with their liquid, and dried basil. Cover and cook on low 4 to 4 1/2 hours. Stir in fresh basil and cream. Spoon the sauce over noodles and toss. Serve at once.

It is spaghetti with cream. It was not good. No flavor. I'll just make plain spaghetti sauce next time and have a better meal.
