300 gramsSteak
2 tbsolive oil
2 mediumOnions
5 clovesgarlic
2 tablespoonLite Soy Sauce
1/2 cupWater
2 Carrots
1 Yellow pepper
1 Red pepper
1 Green pepper
Mushrooms
1 cupRice

Pepper Beef Stir Fry Preparation

Slice the steak in thin strips and brown in a frying pan or wok with the oil. Remove and set aside. Add soy sauce and water to pan and saute onion and garlic until softened.

If using fresh carrots, add them with the onions otherwise if using frozen add after onions are cooked along with peppers and mushrooms. Heat long enough to soften peppers then add the sliced steak. Cook until everything is hot and then serve over rice.

Notes

A nice stir fry. Other vegetables such as baby corn, peas or brocolli could be added if desired.

We had plenty of pepper varieties from the farmer's market, including a hot one, and it all tasted great together.

Great recipe! I loved the taste. I think though it had WAY too many peppers compared to the other ingredients. I had to take some of them out.

Pretty much followed the recipe bar a few ingredients I was lacking Grilled the steak in a George Foreman but not sure whether that defeats the purpose? Maybe it should cook in it's own sources. Because I didn't have garlic to add to it I improvised - I put a squirt of honey while the onions were softening. Added chilles for a little kick. Added brocolli like someone suggested. Then I used 2 tb spoons of All purpose seasoning with half a mug of boiling water before adding the beef back in. Mixed in egg noddles also. It was nice... I defos will be using this recipe and try it with garlic this time! Thanks
