Best lasagna recipe I've ever made.
"Sooo good!!! I made a few changes as I went along that seemed to work. First I added mozzarella to the cottage cheese mix. I used a 7x11 pan because I was only serving 2 people and I also used about a half jar of prego sauce in the sausage mix because it seemed too thick. I used the no-boil lasagna noodles as well, which turned out perfect and made for less dishes and quicker meal. My best lasagna yet!"- Stephmill

michellehubbard1 3 months agoThis was delicious! My husband actually said it was better than his mother's recipe!
happymom1234 5 months agoGreat recipe! I am not a ricotta fan so I was drawn to this right away. I used ground turkey and added some Creole seasoning to give it the kick that sausage would give it and then added lots of Italian seasoning to the meat and sauce mixture. I used one large container of cottage cheese and one cup of parmesan and it turned out great. Aso only used 4 cups of mozz cheese as the bag was already $5 and I wanted to keep the dish at a reasonable price. My husband is the better cook (I am a baker and candy maker) but I think this turned out better than his lasagna. The kids liked it a lot too. Thanks for posting! Will make again!
tamix3 5 months agoBest lasagne recipe I Have ever made! Gone within 24hrs!! Amazing!
YCarter 7 months agoThe family really liked this. I didn't use as much cheese as recommended, and sub'd ricotta cheese. I thought there was still to much cheese and not enough pasta. Will try it with another type of pasta next time, instead of lasagna.
C.Hubb 10 months agoThe lasagna I usually make takes an hour of cooking time not to mention the prep, but this was faster and more flavorful!
mcpartdl 10 months agoThis was delicious! I used 2 lbs meat (beef and sausage) as suggested. I also didn't need 7 cups of mozzarella, used about half of that. Added salt and paper as well. Everyone loved it! Even the little ones :)

robertvillar58 1 year agoCooked this tonight. I didn't put as much mozzarella as the recipe called for, and I added a third layer of lasagna noodles. It was awesome! Can't wait to eat the leftovers.
kimlauria 1 year agoBest lasagna I've ever made. And super easy too!! I used 1 can diced tomatoes, 1 can of paste and 1 can of tomato sauce instead of what the recipe calls for.
janetmitchell 1 year agoFamily loved it. Tried it with ricotta and turkey italian sausage.
rachelswimmer-flores 1 year agoThis dish was great. I had leftover short ribs that I substituted for the meat. My husband liked it so much-he kept asking me if I bought it.
Bnfowler19 1 year agoExcellent!!! I made a couple changes tho. Ground beef instead of sausage. Tomato sauce instead of diced. Halved everything except for beef and sauce so had double meat sauce than what recipe called for but I think the ratio was just right! Husband loved!also used half mozzarella &half Monterey jack.
