Ready in 45 minutes
Best lasagna recipe I've ever made.
"Sooo good!!! I made a few changes as I went along that seemed to work. First I added mozzarella to the cottage cheese mix. I used a 7x11 pan because I was only serving 2 people and I also used about a half jar of prego sauce in the sausage mix because it seemed too thick. I used the no-boil lasagna noodles as well, which turned out perfect and made for less dishes and quicker meal. My best lasagna yet!"- Stephmill

michellehubbard1 7 months agoThis was delicious! My husband actually said it was better than his mother's recipe!
happymom1234 9 months agoGreat recipe! I am not a ricotta fan so I was drawn to this right away. I used ground turkey and added some Creole seasoning to give it the kick that sausage would give it and then added lots of Italian seasoning to the meat and sauce mixture. I used one large container of cottage cheese and one cup of parmesan and it turned out great. Aso only used 4 cups of mozz cheese as the bag was already $5 and I wanted to keep the dish at a reasonable price. My husband is the better cook (I am a baker and candy maker) but I think this turned out better than his lasagna. The kids liked it a lot too. Thanks for posting! Will make again!

YCarter 12 months agoThe family really liked this. I didn't use as much cheese as recommended, and sub'd ricotta cheese. I thought there was still to much cheese and not enough pasta. Will try it with another type of pasta next time, instead of lasagna.
