michellehubbard1 , 1 years agoThis was delicious! My husband actually said it was better than his mother's recipe!
happymom1234 , 1 years agoGreat recipe! I am not a ricotta fan so I was drawn to this right away. I used ground turkey and added some Creole seasoning to give it the kick that sausage would give it and then added lots of Italian seasoning to the meat and sauce mixture. I used one large container of cottage cheese and one cup of parmesan and it turned out great. Aso only used 4 cups of mozz cheese as the bag was already $5 and I wanted to keep the dish at a reasonable price. My husband is the better cook (I am a baker and candy maker) but I think this turned out better than his lasagna. The kids liked it a lot too. Thanks for posting! Will make again!
YCarter , 1 years agoThe family really liked this. I didn't use as much cheese as recommended, and sub'd ricotta cheese. I thought there was still to much cheese and not enough pasta. Will try it with another type of pasta next time, instead of lasagna.
C.Hubb , 2 years agoThe lasagna I usually make takes an hour of cooking time not to mention the prep, but this was faster and more flavorful!
mcpartdl , 2 years agoThis was delicious! I used 2 lbs meat (beef and sausage) as suggested. I also didn't need 7 cups of mozzarella, used about half of that. Added salt and paper as well. Everyone loved it! Even the little ones :)
rachelswimmer-flores , 2 years agoIt's good and easy! My husband liked it so much, he asked where I bought it. I used just ground beef.
robertvillar58 , 2 years agoCooked this tonight. I didn't put as much mozzarella as the recipe called for, and I added a third layer of lasagna noodles. It was awesome! Can't wait to eat the leftovers.
