Since we discovered this way to cook salmon, we haven't had it any other way!
"30 minutes is way to long with a 350 degree oven. More like 20 minutes. Since I was feeding my young children I left out the cayanne pepper and it still turned out great. I let it set in the fridge with the spices for about 4 hours before cooking. My 5 year old will hardly ever eat anything, but she LOVED this dish. Combine all seasoning ingredients and spread over the surface of the salmon. Bake (skin-side down) in a 350 F oven for 20 - 30 minutes depending on the thickness of the salmon.
If you're grilling it, do so over high heat for 10 - 15 minutes depending on thickness. Do not turn the salmon over.
This salmon can also be grilled on the barbecue, but watch for flare-ups!

spicegrl75 2 weeks agoPretty good. I'm not experienced with cooking with fish and don't have access to much fresh fish. This was forgiving for frozen salmon, which usually doesn't come out as tasty as fresh.
