Other than the time it takes to flower the shrimp, this recipe is really quite quick and easy - great served with a variety of other entrees family style.

| 6 Shrimp; 16-20 count |
| 7 Asparagus; fresh, rinsed and soaked |
| 3 Chinese Dried Black Mushrooms; soaked 15 min |
| 1 tbVegetable oil |
| 2 tGarlic; minced |
| 2 tbsOyster Sauce |
| 2 Red chili peppers; seeded and sliced |
Thai Flower Shrimp Preparation
------------Mis en Place-----------
1. Peel shrimp, leaving the tail on
2. cut through back of shrimp and slip tail through cut to form flower.
3. cut off stems of mushrooms and discard
------------Fire------------
1. saute garlic and mushrooms for 1 minute
2. add remaining ingredients. saute until shrimp are pink and firm
-----------Plating----------
fan asparagus on plate interspersing shrimp. Place mushrooms at point
serve with rice.
Notes
