Easy to prepare using canned salmon, this is great for crackers or tea sandwiches

Original recipe makes 4
7 ouncesCanned salmon; (1/2 large can)
1 stickButter; melted
1/4 mediumonion; chopped finely
1 tablespoonCapers; chopped (optional)
3 tablespoonsPlain yogurt
Salt
White pepper

Salmon Spread Preparation

Drain salmon and remove bones. Combine with a hand blender or in a food processor until smooth. Pour into a covered dish and refrigerate at least 20 minutes, until firm.

Great to spread on crackers (top with a black olive slice for great hors d'oevres) or on white bread with the crusts cut off for tea.
