Original recipe makes 6
1 1/2 quartBasic Fish Stock; - See separate recipe
2 mediumLimes; - Juiced & zested
2 mediumHot green peppers; Serrano - chopped fine
Chili paste
1 cupBrocolli slaw
1/2 cupCarrots; -shredded
12 largeShrimp; - 16-20 count
4 mediumGreen onions; chopped
1 mediumAvocado; - diced
1/2 cupCroutons; - optional

Hot and Sour Fish Soup Preparation

Add the fish stock, lime juice, chilies, chili paste, brocolli, and carrots to a pan and bring to boiling. Simmer for 15 to 30 minutes. Add shrimp about 6-7 minutes before serving and allow them to cook in the broth. Add lime zest just prior to serving.

Garnish with avocado and green onions. Float a few croutons on top.
