Tried this a couple of times last year and loved it.

Original recipe makes 6
1 pc9 inch prepared pie crust
FILLING:
4 cupsapples; chopped
2 tablespoonsLemon juice
1 cupwalnuts; chopped
3/4 cupBrown sugar
1/2 cupHoney
TOPPING:
4 tablespoonsbutter; softened
3 tablespoonsflour; all-purpose
3 tablespoonsWalnuts; chopped
3 tablespoonsBrown sugar

Apple Walnut Pie Preparation

Preheat oven at 375F for about 8 minutes. Toss chopped apples with lemon juice. Mix together walnuts, brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon powder or nutmeg (optional). Place apples inthe prepared shell. Pour honey evenly over all filling. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 375F for about 35 minutes. For the topping, mix together chopped walnuts, brown sugar, flour and butter. Remove the pie from the oven and top with the topping mix. Bake another 10-15 minutes or until apples are soft and topping is light brown. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
