SIMPLE AND VERY GOOD

"My first time making a peach cobbler, I found this recipe to have worked pretty well. Very easy to make & I think I'll be making it again some time - may make a few adjustments, but overall worth a try.
Like others have said, the crispy edge I found to be my favorite. ^_^ I found I had to cook mine longer than the recommended 40min (ended up cooking it for closer to an hour).

Overall, thanks for the recipe! ^_~" - Pinto

I made this the other day and ate the while thing. Most excellent flavor. I know better than to make this dish alone...lol

This was not cobbler. Perhaps because I'm from the midwest, I expect cobbler to be more of a pie crust and not biscuit crust. This was odd textured and flavored. Looked pretty though.

Hello, it doesnt specify if its plain flour or self-raising...so i used plain with the baking soda and got a bad result a big layer of gooy stuff..is this meant to be like a cake? And dont u need eggs to bake a cake? I had to hide the mess before my wife came home...we are not ones to waste food please advise!

Very good. Added a little brown sugar and cinnamon to the peaches. Will add a pinch of salt and maybe a touch of vanilla to batter next time. Need to balance the sweetness a little.

This was wonderful! Im used to the topping on cobblers being crumbly... So it was steange that is was going... So im not sure if i would call it a cobbler... But it still tasted awesome and super easy

Do you just use all purpose flour? Mine came out like sponge cake :-(

Golden crunch of the crust (tons of butter helped :-) made it a winner. I used strawberries with a little lemon juice for more tang. It was great. While the butter is decadent and a treat, less would certainly work.

So good. So easy. I use whatever fruit I have in hand, as we get a ton in our weekly organic CSA box, and I usually have the other ingredients around. I always add brown sugar and cinnamon to the fruit and a bit more on top. Yummy!

Excellent recipe! Super easy and delicious! I always soak my peaches in the almond extract along with honey and a little lemon juice. I love that it's easy for the kids to help with as well! Two thumbs up!

Even though I used 4 medium-large apples, it still seemed like there was too much dough, especially around the edges. With either more apples or more careful placement, this should be a really yummy dish! LOVE how simple it is!
