brittybabe90 ,Excellent recipe! Super easy and delicious! I always soak my peaches in the almond extract along with honey and a little lemon juice. I love that it's easy for the kids to help with as well! Two thumbs up!11y
mjcrow06 ,Even though I used 4 medium-large apples, it still seemed like there was too much dough, especially around the edges. With either more apples or more careful placement, this should be a really yummy dish! LOVE how simple it is!11y
clarkntinaramsey ,Very good and easy, might not use quite a whole stick of butter next time though. I didn't have any almond extract. But it was still so good, thank you for sharing your recipe.11y
cindyrendon-sanchez ,Wonderful recipe! I think you can cut the butter up to half though, bc I thought it was a bit much. Other than that, I kept the recipe pretty much the same. I just added cinnamon with the almond extract. And then topped it with a bit more sugar on top for a nicer crust...soooo good!!!11y
terik1972 ,Added a touch of brown sugar and cinnamon to the peaches. Was really good and everyone enjoyed.11y
heisenmeimer ,Wow, was this good! I halved the butter but other than that....very easy and yummy! I made a rhubarb and strawberry variation and took it to a family potluck. They finished it off and had many requests for recipes. My husband raved about it! Will definitely make it again!11y
memelynn ,1 pound of butter is 4 sticks, so 1 stick is 1/4 pound ( 1 pound equals 16 ounces, 1/4 pound is 4 ounces)11y
amandadobbratz ,This is an awesome recipe. Made it for a dinner party last night. It came together really quickly and everyone loved it. Will def make it again.11y
mdurose ,Made this with fresh strawberries and 2/3 cup of agave syrup instead of sugar (I was out of sugar :s). Turned out great! Can't wait to try it with peaches and maybe amaretto instead of almond extract ? Oh my....12y
brettnleosmom ,Delicious and easy! I chose to make the apple variation, but the sustitutions are endless!12y
querian ,I was skeptical this recipe would work, shouldn't the crust go on top? But it magically worked! I cut down a little on the sugar and butter and used peaches with the almond extract and I was very pleased at how much almond flavor a little extract gave the dish. Yummy!12y
criminalteddy ,Forgot the almond extract (oops) with peaches, but will use next time, and likely cut back on the butter and sugar next time. Like the fruit proportions!12y
