susanisham ,I cooked the flour well with the mushrooms, helps with the consistency, I also added sweet onion with the mushroom sauté. Pepper, & small amount of worcestershire sauce really brings a nice flavor.11y

bigduke06 ,It was a little thin for my liking. The second time I made it I mixed some of the mushroom liquid with a couple of tablespoons of flour and then added it back in with the cream, then let it simmer for bit. Delicious!!!!12y

mollymcferren ,This is a great jumping off point for mushroom soup! I added a couple small diced red potatoes because I didn't have a full pound of mushrooms. I also added a little onion and minced garlic. I blended about 3/4 of the soup before adding milk. Since I didn't have cream I used Vitamin D milk and a little sour cream. We loved it. Thank you!12y
