A Sweet Treat

"It was really simple and easy to make. My three year old and the rest of the family loved it as treat for dessert. I left out almonds and did not use all the mixture. Saved it to use for later!

Original recipe makes 8
4 ouncesCream cheese; philadelphia brand
3 tablespoonHoney; divided
1/4 cupAlmonds; sliced
1 packageCrescent Dinner Rolls
1 dashCinnamon; ground

Honey Cream Filled Crescents Preparation

Preheat oven to 375. Mix cream cheese and 2 tablespoons of the honey. Stir in almonds. Unroll crescent rol dough; separate into 8 triangles. Spread 1 rounded tablespoon cream cheese mixture onto each triangle; roll up each loosley, starting at shortest side of triangle, rolling to opposite point. Place rolls on ungreased baking sheet; curve each into crescent shape. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Serve rolls warm, drizzled with remaining honey.

My notes: First made 11/18/07. Skip the almonds and use a little less cream cheese mixture on each roll. Forgot to glaze them at the end with honey but still very good.
