Great Oatmeal Raisin Cookies recipe. These oatmeal raisin cookies are absolutely the best I have ever had. When I make these, I get rave reviews from both children and adults every time... as well as many repeat requests.

Awesome cookies! Made them as directed. Great flavor too! You can add pomegranate to the raisins as I did for fuller flavor.

Made cookies exactly according to recipe. Perfect! Really thick and chunky. Other have said that they were two buttery. I didn't find that to be true, and I'm usually a bit of a health freak!

Them off the pan they all stuck, and I had to scrap them off! Someone please tell me what may have gone wrong? I bake alot and I almost always sub almond for vanilla and have never had a problem.

I love this recipe. I added 2 packets of apple cider mix and 1 tsp of cinnamon and added another 4 oz of butter. Should add 1/2 cup of flour if you do this. Came out amazingly soft and the flavor was incredible

Easy to put together (used an electric hand whisk to beat the butter and sugar then to incorporate the dry ingredients). Good combination, like a flapjack but lighter. Will make again.

These are delicious! The nutmeg addition is inspired. I subbed white whole wheat for all of the white flour and they were tender and tasty. FYI, I compared this to the famous Vanishing Oatmeal Cookie recipe on the Quaker Oats' site, and the only differences are that the Vanishing Oatmeal Cookies use 6 fewer tablespoons of butter (3/4 stick,) 2 eggs instead of 1, and omits the nutmeg. Slightly more cakey from the added egg, definitely less buttery...both are great, of course!
