Original recipe makes 4
1 14.5-oz canTomatoes; chopped or pureed depending on individual preference
1 can (6 oz)Tomato paste
1 cupWater
1 teaspoonSalt
1/4 teaspoonPepper
2 teaspoonsSugar
2 teaspoonsBasil
1 tablespoonOnion; minced
Garlic powder; to taste

Spaghetti Sauce Preparation

Place all ingredients in a large saucepan.

Heat at medium until bubbling; stir often.

Cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
