Original recipe makes 6
2 poundsboneless skinless chicken breasts; cut in 1" cubes
2 largeonions; quartered
1 cupbaby carrots
3 mediumpotatoes; cut into 1" cubes
3 cupsChicken broth
1 teaspoonCelery seed
1 teaspoonDried thyme
1 teaspoonblack pepper; freshly-ground
Salt; to taste
8 ouncesMushrooms; sliced
1 cupfrozen corn; thawed
1 cupfrozen peas; thawed

Chicken Stew Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except peas, in the crockpot; stir well. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours, until chicken is done and vegetables are tender; stir in peas the last 30 minutes.

This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
